Reviews and Ratings
The park has a charming location with some lovely sites, especially the ones on the hill with a view of the creek. However, the overall condition of the park feels neglected, with issues like low water pressure and unmaintained facilities. The ongoing renovations show promise, but the lack of completed projects affects the experience, especially for families with kids.
I had a decent experience at this campground. The staff was personable, and my family had a great time camping here, but there were definitely some drawbacks. While it was clean and well-kept, the issues with geese droppings around the lake and the outdated cabins made it less enjoyable. The lack of adequate access to Wi-Fi and cable was also a minor annoyance, though we still had a good time overall.
The campground offers a delightful outdoor experience with friendly staff and well-maintained facilities. The renovations in the park are evident and positively impact the overall atmosphere. However, some areas, particularly the older sections, could use more attention, and service has been inconsistent, especially for long-time members.
The campground has great potential and is situated in a beautiful area with some enjoyable outdoor activities. However, the overall experience was marred by construction noise and cleanliness issues, particularly with the pesky geese around the lake. The staff seemed defensive and unhelpful when we brought up the problems, which was disappointing. While the campsites are spacious, the amenities need improvement.
My stay at this campground was a mix of positives and negatives. While I appreciated being able to choose my site and the friendly staff, the pool was under construction and some of the amenities felt outdated. The location is okay, but I wouldn't say it's ideal for a family getaway. Overall, for those who have a membership, it can be a decent value, but the price without it seems quite high for what they offer.
